What Types of Counseling Do We Offer?
- Family Systems Therapy: Aims to reshape unhealthy patterns or dynamics. Examines family roles, interactions, and conflicts to promote understanding and growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Uses CBT’s methods for identifying and remodeling unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Adapts the process for ones specific to generating conflict or straining relationships.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): EFT centers around strengthening emotional bonds and understanding. It is often used for partners or families struggling with trust or attachment.
- Psychoeducation: Focuses on providing tools, exercises, and education for clients to better understand mental health. The more you know, the more you can build a supportive environment.
- Conflict Resolution Counseling: Homes in on disputes and conflict, providing structured approaches to resolve them.

How many sessions are usually recommended?

Yes! Counseling and therapy can be very flexible, often blending multiple approaches. Individual therapy can provide further support for a person also participating in group therapy.

Most insurance plans in California include coverage for family therapy. Group counseling coverage depends on the plan, though some do offer coverage. We recommend confirming with your provider to see what is covered and what your out-of-pocket costs might be.
